Mayhem Morearty preps for release of The Anarkist’s Cookbook [News]

It goes without saying that Mayhem Morearty has become one of the most respected and supported artists coming out of the Mega City. From the Hustlemann mixtape series, Back 2 The Future double-CD, the Out Here mixtape, I Need My Nuggets series and countless other appearances, anticipation is at an all-time high for new Mayhem material. Having just premiered the B-side (“Don’t Play” ft. Obie) to his new single on HipHopCanada earlier this morning, Mayhem (aka Anarky) is now preparing for the release of his next full-length project titled The Anarkist’s Cookbook on Mosaic Music / E1 Entertainment.

The Anarkist’s Cookbook will be Mayhem’s first solo project since the highly successful Out Here which was released in 2007. It features 16 original tracks mixed by Ty “the Boogeyman” Harper of Flow 93.5’s OTA Live and 2 time Stylus Award winner Lissa Monet. The project is hosted by Toronto comedy sensation Trixx. The Cookbook’s features and producers include Drake, Belly, JRDN, Magnum 357, TnT, J.B., Rich Kidd, Soze, Arthur McArthur, Soundsmith Productions, Northern Profit (Big Pops), Product & Whitton, Dirtwork Productions, C4 and more. The video for “Don’t Play” was directed by T.J. Derry and will be debuting in the coming week. The A-side to the single is called “Thug U” and it features JRDN (aka Jordan Croucher). The video for that single will also be released in the near future. Stay tuned to HipHopCanada for more Mayhem updates.
